What this is

Healthy Homies is a group habit challenge. A team can be friends and family, or people who have never met: open teams are made of strangers who each asked to join. Your scores, messages, photos and voice notes are visible to the members of your team and nobody else.

18 and older

You must be 18 or older to use Healthy Homies. If we learn someone on a team is under 18, they are taken off it.

House rules

Everyone signs these with their Pledge:

  • Lift each other up. Everyone here is trying.
  • Trash talk the score, never the person.
  • Nothing sexual, hateful or threatening. Ever.

There is no tolerance for objectionable content or abusive behavior: no harassment, no threats, no hate, no sexual content, nothing illegal.

Who runs a team

Every team has a commissioner. On an open team that is Reed, who makes Healthy Homies. On your own team it is whoever started it.

Reporting

Long-press any message to report it, or open a homie's card to report their name, photo, a voice note, how they treat people, or that you're worried about them. You can also block anyone. Only the commissioner sees a report, and the person reported is never told who sent it. The commissioner looks within 24 hours, and you get a private note once they have.

What happens next

The commissioner can take down any message. Someone who keeps breaking the rules, or breaks them badly once, is removed from the season, privately: the team is not told why, and their past logs stay on the record.

If you're having a hard time

Healthy Homies is not a crisis service. In the US, call or text 988 any time.
