What we collect

Your account: email address, name, and country, plus an optional profile photo, bio, home city, and “currently reading” line. Your challenge activity: daily habit scores, chat messages, photos and videos you post, reactions, voice notes you record for a groupmate, and short intro/finale clips if you record them. We record how you use the app (screens, taps, and blurred screen recordings) to make it easier to use. Every word you type or read is hidden in those recordings. A push notification token if you allow notifications. When the app breaks on your phone we log the screen, the error, and your device type so it can be fixed; that log has no name attached and is deleted after two weeks.

Who sees it

The members of your group. That's the product: your scores, messages, and media are visible to the people in your challenge and nobody else. There are no public profiles, no ads, no ad trackers, and your data is never sold or shared with anyone outside the service providers below.

Where it lives

Data is stored with Supabase (database, file storage, and login) and the app is hosted on Vercel. Push notifications go through Apple's notification service on iPhone and Google's on Android. Google also handles “Sign in with Google.” Sign-in codes and the occasional reminder email (for example, when your phone has notifications off and your season is about to start) are delivered by Resend. Every reminder email has an Unsubscribe link. If a commissioner adds a home town, the town's name is sent to Open-Meteo, a free weather service, so the crew's house can show that town's sky and weather. Nothing else about anyone is sent. The usage records and blurred screen recordings above go to PostHog. Those are the only outside services in the chain. The app's operator can access data for moderation and support.

Google Calendar (optional)

If you connect Google Calendar to plan a call, Healthy Homies asks Google for three things: when you're busy, the names and times of events on calendars you own (read only), and permission to make one calendar of its own, called Healthy Homies. We use them for one job: when you pick times for a call, the hours you're busy are greyed out with what's there, and the call you book goes on the Healthy Homies calendar. Event names are read when you open the picker, shown only to you, and never saved. We keep only what's needed to stay connected: Google's access key, the Google email you connected, and the Healthy Homies calendar's id. Your calendar is never shared, sold, used for ads, or used to train AI. To disconnect, remove Healthy Homies at myaccount.google.com/permissions; deleting your account removes the connection too.

Healthy Homies' use and transfer of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

Deleting your account

Open Edit you (account menu, then your name, then Edit) and choose Delete account at the bottom. Your login, profile, photo, intro and finale clips, survey answers, and push tokens are permanently deleted. Any group where you were the only member is deleted entirely.

What stays, so the rest of your group keeps its record: your scores and chat messages, the photos and videos you posted in chat, and any voice notes you sent, all shown as “Former member” rather than your name. If you appeared in a group's opening or closing ceremony video, that finished video stays in their chat. Be sure before you delete: none of that can be undone, and we can't pull you back out of a finished ceremony video. You can also email us to request deletion.
